Widford Parish is first and foremost, a Family.

Our Parish Vision Statement is to be a church close to God, to reach out to the lost and to have servant hearts.  We implement this vision into all aspects of our church life.  Each worship centre has added its own 4th element to the Vision Statement, which essentially is to nurture and care for each other.

As a part of our family life here at Widford Parish we organise and encourage the whole parish to spend a weekend away together every other year.  It is a chance for us all to relax and be catered for in every way, physically, emotionally and spiritually.  There's lots of food, teaching, worship and loads of free time.   It is a fantastic opportunity for us to get to know each other better, have lots of fun and generally have 'time out'. Then of course there's the last night "do it yourself concert" which gives those who want to, the opportunity to perform their "party piece".
