Meets every Wednesday at 1.00pm
Every Wednesday many seniors from the local estate, gather for a good “home cooked” two course meal followed by tea/coffee at the parish centre.
It
is a time for friends to get together, and for others to make new friends.
Why not join us for good company and good food each week? Lunch club closes during August and over the Christmas period, however, just before Christmas there is always a full Christmas dinner to look forward to!

Chelmsford Centre for the Blind
Meets every Tuesday at the
Parish Centre
Although it is not an organisation run by Widford Parish, the Parish Centre hosts Chelmsford Centre for the Blind each week.
If
you know anyone who is blind or partially sighted, they are most welcome to go
along on Tuesdays and spend the day making new friends, learning basket weaving,
learning Braille
and other activities to help them, with occasional trips out.

Chelmsford Healing Rooms
Meets every Tuesday at the Parish Centre at 6.30pm
As with the Blind Club, Chelmsford Healing Rooms is not an organisation run by us, although some of our members are volunteers for them.
God
heals and works miracles. Christians from
churches all over the world pray for and see miracles of healing – often during
church services.
The
‘Healing Rooms’ are a group of ordinary Christians who are available to pray
for people on a Tuesday, for healing to take place.
