What's on in the Parish Centre?

Here you can find out more about what goes on at Widford Parish throughout the week (for those of us who are a bit too old for the children's and youth activities!)

 

Lunch Club  Meets every Wednesday at 1.00pm

It is a time for friends to get together, to make new friends and be waited on with a two course meal followed by tea and coffee for £2 per person. 

At Christmas we invite special guests to join us for a traditional Christmas dinner.

Women’s Fellowship follows Lunch Club in the parish centre at 2.15pm.

Activities each week vary.  Sometimes we invite speakers or other entertainment, or we have a Beetle Drive, Dave (the Rector) comes to give us Holy Communion regularly, we make up shoe boxes of essentials for people in countries less fortunate than ourselves...to name a few of them.  We do guarantee that each week always have a cuppa and you will find...

Essex PoliceWaterhouse Farm Police Surgery is held every four weeks on Wednesdays during Women's Fellowship at the Parish Centre.

Wednesdays at 1500

Our Neighbourhood Specialist Officer is PC Tony Devries, and Karen Garwood is the Waterhouse PCSO (Police Community Support Officer).

These are “drop in” meetings designed to give you the opportunity to speak to your local officers about any issues you have in the area as well as to receive crime prevention and safety advice.  It is also a forum for you to ask questions in relation to crime and other problems in the area.
